Camping at
Westermill Farm
Westermill campsite is a beautiful, secluded valley site in the centre of Exmoor National Park, which consists of fifteen acres, divided into four fields.
Set up your pitch on mown meadows beside the River Exe where you can take full advantage of private access to a two mile stretch of the river. The first field is fenced off from the river and all the others are open to the river. It is a children’s paradise, allowing them to make dams, fish with nets and splash around, whilst the adults relax in their tent.
Facilities
What makes us different from other campsites is that we do not have set pitches; you choose where to camp on arrival. This gives you the freedom to explore the site and choose the area that appeals to you the most. Parking your car next to your tent is also allowed.

Location & Site Map
We have 4 camping fields which can be seen on our site map below.
If you are driving to Westermill Farm Campsite we — strongly recommend — that you avoid Muddicombe Lane … regardless of whatever your GPS / Sat Nav may say! The easiest (and least stressful) way to drive to Westermill Farm is to head West from Exford.
Enjoy Our Family Farm
Nestled in a peaceful Exford valley, Westermill is a family-run working farm since 1938.
Surrounded by Exmoor’s rolling hills and the River Exe, guests can experience daily farm life, see sheep, cattle, hens, and red deer, and enjoy the tranquillity of this beautiful countryside base.
