Gorse sleeps up to seven guests and exudes the charm of a true log cabin retreat. Our last remaining original cabin—crafted from Finnish logs by the Edwards family—has been recently revamped, creating a brighter, open-plan interior that’s perfect for relaxed family getaways. This single-storey cabin features a welcoming veranda and two gentle steps leading to the bedrooms and bathrooms.

The sitting room is cosy and inviting, with two comfy sofas, a wall-mounted TV, and a wood-burner for those chilly evenings.
There are three thoughtfully arranged bedrooms: two twin rooms and a third with bunkbeds, plus a single 2ft6 bed. Each room includes practical storage with a hanging cupboard, shelving, and a small chest of drawers as a bedside table.

The newly refurbished kitchen is spacious and bright, featuring hand-built units, a larger fridge with bottom freezer drawers, a dishwasher, and an upgraded cooker with an induction hob—perfect for preparing family meals in a relaxed, open-plan setting.

The bathroom has also been updated, with a larger shower with glass sliding doors, a basin, and a loo, plus a second loo with a basin for extra convenience.
