Ling is a charming smaller cottage, sleeping up to four guests, nestled in the bottom paddock next to Whortleberry Cottage with a gentle brook nearby. Named after the heather that carpets the moorland and turns vivid pink and purple each August, it offers a peaceful countryside retreat.

A cosy verandah overlooks the river and an ancient oak tree, perfect for relaxing outdoors. Inside, the living area features a comfy sofa, two armchairs, a TV, a pine table with chunky farmhouse chairs, and a wood-burning stove.

The well-equipped kitchen has wooden units, an electric cooker, microwave, and fridge, while full central heating and hot water are provided by our eco-friendly biomass boiler. Upstairs, there are two twin bedrooms with pine furniture and beamed ceilings, secured with a child safety gate at the top of the stairs.

The main-floor shower room has a white-tiled cubicle, loo, vanity basin, wooden flooring, and a heated towel rail. Upstairs, a second bathroom includes a loo, basin, heated towel rail, wall heater, and lino flooring
