Molinia Cottage, named after a moorland grass, is a spacious countryside retreat for up to seven guests, with a gentle stream running beside the property.

The cosy living area has a green sofa, two wooden-arm chairs, a pine dining table with farmhouse chairs and window bench, a TV, and a wood-burning stove. Full central heating and hot water are provided by our eco-friendly biomass boiler.

The well-equipped kitchen features hand-built pine units, an electric oven, microwave, and fridge.

Sleeping arrangements include a main-floor single bedroom with a wheelchair-accessible en-suite shower, and two family-style bedrooms upstairs with pine furniture and carpeted floors.

Bathrooms include the en-suite with shower and a second upstairs bathroom with bath, loo, and basin; both have heated towel rails.

Bedding/Linen & Facilities

  • Sheets, Duvet Covers and Pillow Cases are provided at a cost of £10 per bed (option to add during checkout)

  • Towels and tea towels are not provided

  • An oven glove and bath mat are provided

  • 3 Bedrooms: Ground Floor: one bedroom with a single 3ft bed and en-suite shower and loo which is chair accessible
    First Floor: two family style bedrooms. One with a 4ft double bed plus a 3ft single bed and the other with two 3ft single beds, an additional 2ft 6″ bed, as well as a cot.
